This Privacy Policy describes how Stewart Ventures, Inc., doing business as CRM Basket ("CRM Basket," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit CRMBasket.com, sign up for or use the CRM Basket platform and apps, or otherwise interact with us (together, the "Service"). It also explains your privacy rights. By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.
If you are a customer of a business that uses CRM Basket (for example, you received a text, email, or booking link from a landscaper, author, or other business), that business is responsible for how your information is collected and used. We process it on their behalf. Please contact that business directly with questions or requests about your information; we will help them respond. To stop text messages from any business using our platform, reply STOP to the message.
Definitions
- Company ("we," "us," "our") means Stewart Ventures, Inc. DBA CRM Basket, Gardiner, NY 12525.
- Service means the CRMBasket.com website, the CRM Basket platform (app.crmbasket.com and the CRM Basket mobile and desktop apps), and related setup and support services.
- Customer means a business that signs up for the Service.
- End User means a customer, lead, or contact of one of our Customers whose information is stored or processed in that Customer's account.
- Personal Data means information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to an individual.
- Customer Data means the contacts, messages, files, and other data a Customer uploads to or generates in its account, including End User Personal Data.
- Service Provider means a third party that processes data on our behalf to help us provide the Service (for example, the software platform we license, telephone carriers, email delivery, payment processing, hosting, and analytics providers).
- Usage Data means data collected automatically about how the Service is used (for example, pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, and timestamps).
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account and sign-up information: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, and the plan you choose.
- Payment information: collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Business registration information: legal business name, address, tax ID, and similar details required by carriers to register your business for text messaging.
- Setup materials: logos, photos, service lists, customer lists, and other content you send us to build your website and configure your account.
- Communications: emails, texts, calls, and support requests you send us, and notes from onboarding calls.
Customer Data
When you use the Service, you upload and generate Customer Data, including End User contact details, conversations, appointments, invoices, and form submissions. We process Customer Data only to provide and support the Service and as instructed by you, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Information collected automatically
We and our Service Providers collect Usage Data through cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies when you use the website or platform. See "Cookies and Tracking" below.
How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain the Service, including creating and configuring your account, hosting your website, provisioning phone numbers, sending messages you initiate, and processing payments.
- To register your business with carriers and registries so you can send text messages, where you have asked us to do so.
- To support you, respond to requests, and provide onboarding.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, security, service changes, and, unless you opt out, news and offers about our services.
- To improve the Service, including analyzing usage trends and testing features.
- To protect the Service, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents, and enforce our Terms.
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
- For business transfers, as described below.
Text Messaging (SMS) Consent and Opt-Out
If you provide your mobile number when signing up for or using the Service, you consent to receive text messages from CRM Basket related to your account, onboarding, orders, and services, and, where you have opted in, marketing messages about our services. Message frequency varies; typically 3–5 messages per month and no more than 10. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email info@CRMBasket.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They may be shared only with Service Providers (such as carriers and messaging platforms) as necessary to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive.
How We Share Information
We do not sell Personal Data. We share information only as follows:
- Service Providers. With the third parties that help us provide the Service, including the white-label software platform on which CRM Basket runs, telephone and messaging carriers, email delivery providers, payment processors (Stripe), website hosting, cloud storage, analytics, and support tools. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
- Integrations you enable. If you connect third-party services to your account (for example, Google Business Profile, Facebook, Stripe, or a calendar provider), information is exchanged with those services under their terms.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your Personal Data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce our Terms.
- With your direction or consent. For example, when you ask us to share information with a partner or vendor.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the website and platform are used, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These include:
- Essential cookies needed to operate the Service, authenticate users, and prevent fraud.
- Functional cookies that remember your settings and choices.
- Analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) that help us understand traffic and usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Advertising cookies and pixels (for example, Google Ads and Meta/Facebook) that let us show ads to people who have visited our site and measure ad performance. You can limit interest-based ads through Google Ads Settings, Facebook ad preferences, the Digital Advertising Alliance, and your device's ad-tracking settings.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent, but some parts of the Service may not work without them.
Data Retention
We keep account information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after it closes so you can export data or reactivate, after which we may delete it. We may keep certain records longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, or in routine backups that are deleted on a rolling basis. Usage Data is generally kept for a shorter period unless needed for security or to improve the Service.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your Personal Data, we will notify you as required by law.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can view and update most account information by signing in. You may also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Data. We may need to keep certain information for legal or legitimate business reasons.
- Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us. We will still send transactional and account messages.
- Text messages. Reply STOP.
- Cookies and ads. See "Cookies and Tracking" above.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example, to know what data we hold, to have it deleted, or to opt out of certain sharing). We honor these requests as required by law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising them.
- End Users. If your information is in a Customer's account, please contact that Customer. We will assist them in responding to your request.
Where Information Is Processed
We are based in New York, United States, and our Service Providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations with different data-protection laws than your own. We take steps to ensure it is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.
Children's Privacy
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Service may link to third-party websites and services that we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will also notify you by email or a notice in the Service before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated policy.
